Preview of the first image of SCALE MODEL BUS: 1930s YORKSHIRE WOOLLEN LEYLAND TS8.

Advert Description

Yet another of the various operators in Yorkshire to no longer exist was Yorkshire Woollen District which operated in the Dewsbury area.

Together with West Riding it underwent various changes of
ownership and is now part of the German Arriva brand.

This model of a 1930s Leyland TS8 epitomises what a “proper” single decker should look like in its dignified company livery: rather than that of the bland Arriva.

It's never been out its box (see specimen).
