Vintage Rolls Razor Imperial No 2 The Whetter. Original box + instructs. Dates 1930/40s.
Very good original vintage used condition.
Most likely dates late 1930s or early 1940s.
Box has some age/use-related wear/rubbing & discolouration all over.
Greek key design nickel plated outer case with rounded corners, removable strop paddle & whet stone sides & embossed logo "THE WHETTER" on 1 side & "ROLLS RAZOR", patent information, "MADE IN ENGLAND" on other side, has some light surface scratches/pitting outside & a few small rust patches inside otherwise in good condition, serial number on edge is A481642.
Inside is original removable handle, blade & rolling/sharpening handle all in used condition with some slight age/use-related discolouration/tarnishing.
Original instruction leaflet, instruction card, packet to contain strop (empty), 2 unused seasons greetings gift cards & original razor final inspection pass slip.
Measures approx: box: 16cm x 8cm x 2.5cm; metal case: 15cm x 7cm x 2cm.
Belonged to a relative.
