5 photos of the late Queen Elizabeth II visiting Birmingham UK on 20th November 1981.

Very good condition. Slight yellowing on the backs and maybe a little fading on the larger 2 photos although this may be the lighting/flash effect used at the time.

Backs of all photos stamped in faint black ink, indistinct in places "City Engineers Dept., Photographic section, Room B46, Baskerville House, Birmingham B1 2NF".

Each photo is dated 20/11/81 and has a unique reference number.

Discovered whilst clearing out boxes from a relative's loft.

3 Smaller photos each measure approx 12.3cm tall, 18.7cm wide.

2 Larger photos each measure approx 15.5cm tall, 20cm wide.

The photos show the late Queen Elizabeth II meeting members of the public, walking with the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham, signing the visitors book at the Town Hall or Council House and at a formal lunch/tea.
