Antique metal hatpin / hat pin with small black & white glass penguin end
Excellent antique used condition.
Some age-related discolouration/patina/rust on the metal pin shaft.
Small black & white glass penguin attached at the end - in excellent condition no obvious chips/cracks, damage or restoration. Penguin has black colour body with white wings upturned at the ends, nose and eyes and a white stripe down the front.
A rare example of its kind - at time of listing there were no other hatpins quite like this one listed.
Probably Victorian.
Measures approx 8.5cm long, 1cm wide max. Penguin measures approx 1.3cm long, 1cm wide max.
