1887 Victorian antique fine silver & gold pocket watch fob medal. Silver is hallmarked Birmingham. Maker: William James Dingley

Very good Victorian antique used condition.

Some age-related rubbing and light surface scratches.

The gold shield shape cartouche in the centre of the front has faint letters on it (may be "P. H." with "C.C." underneath but it is indistinct).

Silver is fully hallmarked on the rear of the fob medal with the makers mark "W.J.D" for William James Dingley, Warstone Lane, Birmingham. The lion passant for fine silver. The anchor for Birmingham Assay Office. The letter "n" (fancy script stylised) showing the date year is 1887.

Loop at the top edge. Still has original ring for attaching to a chain.

Measures approx 3.5cm long, 2.7cm wide max.
