Antique Victorian ruby/cranberry iridescent lustre & clear glass jug and 6 matching ruby & clear glass glasses with a light iridescent lustre.
Antique Victorian ruby/cranberry iridescent & clear glass jug VGC. Measures approx 13.8cm tall, 7.5cm wide across the top (not including spout or handle), 8.8cm wide across base all max. Excellent rarely-used antique pre-owned condition. No obvious chips/cracks. Ruby/cranberry colour still deep with no obvious signs of wear, fading or rubbing. Very slight iridescent finish. Clear handle. Probably c1900's.
Antique Victorian set of 6 ruby/cranberry iridescent lustre & clear glasses VGC. Each glass measures approx 10.7cm tall, 4.3cm across the top, 4.5cm across the base, base + stem 4.7cm tall, "bowl" section (where the liquid goes) 6cm tall all max. Excellent rarely-used antique pre-owned condition. No obvious chips/cracks. Tiny patch of paler red colour on 1 glass (bottom left in photo 5), otherwise ruby/cranberry colour still deep with no obvious signs of wear, fading or rubbing. Light gold iridescent lustre finish (see photos 3 & 4). Clear base and stem. Probably c1900s.
Provenance: belonged to a relative (passed down from a previous generation).
