Advert Description

Circa 1900, classic (probably) American walnut platform rocking chair. The back with vertical and horizontal walnut turnings and a partially upholstered top rail contains a rectangular upholstered panel. This all leads on to partly upholstered, turned arms which are supported on turned spindles and above an upholstered seat. All on a sprung, rocking mechanism with turned walnut stretchers.
Footstool - 40cm x 30 cm x 15 cm approximately
