Vintage 1960s foldable lamp made in Germany

This is an original foldable table/reading lamp from Germany; 1960s/70s approximately. Made from bakelite(an early type of plastic) and metal. It has been checked and professionally rewired and comes with a bulb fitted and 1 spare bulb. Dimensions: Height extended: 19”/49cm to top of shade. Base diameter when folded: 3”/8cm. The shade is adjustable for direction up, down or sideways. Please view all the photos and dimensions to see it fully extended and folded down to the base. A very unusual item. Please note many of the photos of this item are shot in macro/closeup. The item is in very clean condition but appears to have marks; these are not visible to the naked eye.
