UV torches with LEDs do not work as well on banknotes so I use a £200 longwave UV lamp, the two types of lamp are different, the electric plug-in type are better than the battery operated torch, this is why the Banks, Post Office and Supermarkets use the mains plug-in type.
Different colours fluoresce at different wavelengths, the lamp I use covers all these wavelengths unlike the battery torch type.

In the second quarter of 2008, special Agro cheques (Agricultural Cheques) were issued in denominations ranging from $5 billion to $100 billion as the currency exchange rate was floated. Since the functions were similar to Bearer cheques, it was in regular use as prices continue to rise. These cheques also carried time limits and limited security features.
