Advert Description
Vorwerk, Araucana, bantam Barnevelder, and olive egger pullets.
Hatched this year and last year.
Lovely healthy girls.
Vorwerks are a traditional farmyard breed, making them decent layers, good foragers, hardy and frugal. Plus they're pretty stunning to look at. They lay tinted or cream eggs.
British Araucanas have a beard and crest and lay blue eggs. They are friendly, curious and come in 12 standard colours, plus lots of non-standard combinations.
Our Barnevelders are bantams in the silver colourway. They are very sweet, chatty birds that lay a cream egg (unlike their large fowl counterpart).
Olive eggers are a cross between araucana and Marans. They inherit both the blue and dark brown egg colour genes from each respective parent, combining to make a beautiful green or olive-coloured egg.
