A large, signed, limited-edition piece from the David Winter Main collection. Released in 1996 and then retired later that year. Has never been on display. Complete with numbered certificate of authenticity.
Edition number is 0915/4900 and is signed on the base by David Winter at one of the years events.
Tomb lid, front left of building, is removable to expose scroll inside (not read)
Handmade and hand painted in Gt. Britain at the Studio & Workshops of John Hine Ltd.
David Winter is the son of the late sculptor Faith Winter FRBS. He is the original miniature cottage artist with many imitators to follow.
Size is approximately at base 190mm wide, 162 deep and 307 in height. Weight is 4.8kg without packaging
Box has light scuff marks to some corners. Collection would be the safest method.
Quite rare, in very good condition and collectable. We have others that we will be adding for sale.
What mouse? – Ghost mouse. At rear on part demolished wing on 2nd floor, a mousehole with tracks leading from it.
