Advert Description

Highly original and unmolested, with original log book showing it was first registered 9th July 1949. Chassis number 8666941 meaning it was vehicle no. 6941 off the production line. It has been registered on the modern DVLA computer system.
Bought it as a restoration project in 2005. Since then: The engine has been fully re-engineered by Cox &
Turner Engineering in Hampshire. Rebore, all new bearings valves etc. Hardened valve seats for unleaded petrol. All ancillaries fully reconditioned.
Other work we had done: New clutch, gearbox reconditioned. Springs and shocks replaced where necessary. All steering, drive train and brake parts replaced where necessary. Fuel tank replaced. Chassis and bulkhead welded where needed, some outriggers were replaced.
Wiring replaced where needed. Seats and backs replaced / re-covered by Exmoor Trim. New canvas from Exmoor Trim.

For parts we went to great pains and cost to source original parts or as close as possible from specialist suppliers.
