A beautiful light lime green with pretty mauve, yellow and green floral pattern.
Square cut neckline, sleeveless, very slight shaping to waist & hips, but essentially a straight shift dress. No zips or other fastenings, this goes straight over your head. Lined around neckline & armholes in silky polyester. 2 bust darts.
Very easy to wear, light & cool viscose, almost floaty. Hangs beautifully, skirt drapes nicely over tummy & hips, & doesn’t stick out like cheaper designs tend to do. Elegant & simple, this is a classic design & still looks contemporary today,
New, this cost me around £60 in the sale back in the 1990s. With more & more branches of Fraser’s closing down, together with them no longer (apparently) stocking the House of Fraser womenswear label, dresses like this are becoming more rare,

This is labelled sz 14, EU40, but different makes use different sizings, so pls compare measurements with a similar item that you know fits you well.
Hard to capture the exact colour, it’s a yellow-lime green not a green-lime green, if that helps. It’s almost fluorescent & looks great on all skin-tones but quite sensational against tanned or darker skin.
