Great vintage condition long sleeve top by JOHN LENNON, with legend “Instant Karma 1971”. 90s/Y2K vintage, this is not an original 1970s top, and I don’t think the John Lennon clothing label even existed then.
“Instant Karma” was a single written by Lennon and produced by Phil Spector after John left The Beatles in 1969.
First released in 1970, it was also made the B side of 1971’s Christmas Single, “War Is Over”. It was the first single from a solo Beatle to sell a million copies,
No stains, marks, etc. Cotton woven to look like denim, in a blue-grey with lighter neck trim and contrast top-stitching. Great item for any Lennon fan.
Measurements:
Pit to pit - 19”/48.5cm (so 38” chest/ bust)
Hem - 20”/51cm
Back length - 24”/61cm
Sleeve length from shoulder seam - 20.25”/51.5cm.
Pls see pics for further description, and check measurements against a similar item that you know fits well. Bust/chest and hem measurements here are taken with item laid flat and without stretching it, so please take this into account.
