Chain belts…hmm. Well I’m just old enough to remember them in their first incarnation in the 1960s. Then they had a resurgence as a fashion item in the 80s, and again in the 2000s - I’ve noticed that fashion tends to go in 20-year cycles.
By that reckoning, chain belts must be about due another comeback!
Excellent condition, no marks or damage. Large gunmetal grey glossy links, fastens with a latch-catch, has a finer tail-chain.
Measurements below.
Larger links section- 30 3/4”, 78.5cm. Catch plus fine chain section is 3/4” plus 9 1/2” (2cm plus 24.5cm), so fits waist up to about 40”, 101.5cm max.
Or wear as a chunky funky necklace. There’s no law that says it HAS to be worn round your waist :)
Links are approx 1” x 5/8th”, 2.5cm x 2cm.
