Cute little black velvet bolero with embroidered neck and front design that I’ve had since the late 1980s. Deep armholes, shaped for bust, cropped length. Great over high-waisted trousers or long tops.
Excellent condition, fully lined, label missing but nothing major to report condition-wisd. Very good cotton velvet. Proper velvet, not the polyester rubbish that’s common now.
*Have just spotted this - Tops of shoulders, around the shoulder seams, could possibly benefit from a steam to refresh the pile where it’s been under other garments in the wardrobe and has become very slightly squashed (hang it in the bathroom next time you have a steamy wash!) but everywhere else the velvet is lush and plush with no marks or any other damage. For its age, it’s doing well! It’s a good vintage piece.

Bottom edge with front together (no fastening, is edge-to-edge and
hangs loose) approx 16 1/2” 42cm
