Another of my vintage 1990s work suits, ala Rachel Green. (I even had a Rachel haircut!) Excellent condition, can’t see a single blemish, fault or mark on it, no obvious signs of wear or use. Really good quality.
Beautiful suit in a charcoal grey. Some diagonal stretch to fabric.
Washable trousers. Double button faux waistband, fastens on side front under the flap, 2 buttons inside the waist and 2 outside hidden by the flap, zip fly. Loop for flap, no separate waistband (makes trousers smoother round your waist). 2 side pockets.
Jacket is slim cut, elegant, beautiful panelled construction. Side slip pockets still mostly stitched shut. Double line stitching detail across chest. 4 front buttons, all hidden beneath a covering placket, 2 buttons to each cuff, very lightly padded shoulders. Rear loop detail. Fully lined. Rever collars.
Labelled size 10, but pls check measurements given against similar garments to be sure of fit. All
measurements approx and circumferences are taken with item laid flat and measured side to side.
Jacket -
Bust - 18” to 19”, 46 to 48.5cm
Waist - 16” or 41cm (this really should hang quite freely and not be stretched over the abdomen, but there is another inch of stretch there if needed)
Hips - 20” or 51cm (stretch as above)
Back length - 27”, 69cm
Trousers -
Waist - 14 3/4”, 38cm, some give but no real stretch because of the way the waist is constructed
Hips - 19 to 20”, 49.5 to 51cm
Front rise -
11 7/8”, just over 25cm
Inside leg, outside leg - 31”, 79cm, 42” or 107cm
Hem width - 8 1/4, 21.5cm
