Thomson Mains/Battery RT474 FM/SW/MW/LW Radio

We bought this radio in France around 2008, but our house is in the mountains and so the reception was zero! Since then it has sat in a cupboard unused.

It runs off batteries (4xCcell/LR14, not supplied) or mains. The plug is a French 2-pin plug, but works fine with a 'shaver adaptor', which is supplied. All the wavebands work. FM is particularly clear, as you'd expect.

It's a neat silver design with manual tuning, a low/high tone switch, a carrying handle and a 3.5mm earphone socket. The instructions are included.

Size: Height 15cm (excl aerial and handle) x Width 24cm max x Depth 7cm max. Lots of curves!
