It is quite a heavy, sturdy unit that does not walk away from you on the floor.
It needs only one DIN MIDI cable to use it but benefits from having 2 during any programming to avoid having to swap from OUT to IN.
Once programmed it retains all its settings.
Bought for home use with my Tyros 2, with which it worked perfectly to start, stop, repeat style variations, trigger effects or wav recordings. However, I hardly ever got it out to use it, hence it is in perfect condition, no wear, scratches or dust ingress.
This is a smoke, pet and child-free home so no smoke or liquid damage.
When I exchanged my Tyros 2 for a Genos, it also connects easily but, again I rarely use it, and so am prepared to let it go to someone who can make better use of its huge capability.
I think that is best suited to either a keyboard player who regularly plays to an audience and needs to work through a set of songs OR who need to activate/trigger various effect.

The full instruction PDF is on-line and the Tyros and Genos keyboards have built-in templates for its use.
It also works with Roland and Korg keyboards but requires you to understand the MIDI Control set in more detail as outlined in the manual.
