The 76 pages of this soft covered book contain the words and music for 109 traditional children’s songs.
The first edition compilation of these delightful songs was published in 1933, by Oxford University Press.
It was then decided to enhance the original version by incorporating numerous charming black and white illustrations, which resulted in this book being published in 1961.
This is a private sale from a pet, smoke and Covid free home.
This song book has been in my family since it was originally purchased new in the 1960’s.
Although much loved this book has been well looked after and lightly used, so is a very nice clean copy and in very good condition for its age.
The attractive full colour pictorial covers are not faded, nor do they have any marks or damage on them.
The spine is tight.
All the pages are still bright, crisp and clear.
There are no stains, holes, tears, or loose or missing pages, nor are there any handwritten notes which might detract from the illustrations etc.
