I've been told the other section would have been made of boxwood but has been lost in time. I believe it probably would have been used for Whisky, Beer or some other fluid, but please do your own research.
It's made from brass with the convex tip being made of a silver coloured metal.
The tip segment includes the convex tip in its one inch measurement. The marked increments are written twice on opposite side of the cylinder.
In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. It will polish up nicely if you wish.
Approx 10" long including the convex tip. I haven't noticed a markers name or stamp.
