Highly collectible Poole Pottery "Twintone" hors d'oeuvres tray in the mushroom & sepia colourway. The glaze has a lovely soft feel.
I believe the tray was purchased in the early 1970s but it could possibly be 60s or even 50s. The range was produced for a very long time!
Probably purchased as a second because the glazing is a little untidy around the edges, and the Poole Pottery stamp is not visible.
Also there is a very small area of damage to the end of one handle, this occurred many years ago & the chip was glued back but the glue has discoloured over time. If the TV shows are to be believed, a restorer would be able to repair this back to 'as new'.
Asking for £10 (cash) if you collect, but feel free to make me an offer, £15 (Paypal or bank transfer) if you want me to post it (Royal Mail signed for 2nd class, insured at the £20 rate). I will pack it as safely as I possibly can, but postage will be entirely at your own risk.
