Period Property Antique Cabin Hook

Antique Cabin Hook, from a period property for a Door, Cupboard or Gate etc.

Quite large in size, as the hook part is 7" long.

Under the paint it looks like it's brass plated, however, it's not magnetic, so I believe it's likely to be brass underneath. However I don't wish to damage it by scratching it. The loop hole bracket is definitely iron.

In expected used condition for items of this age & nature.
It has some of its original paint, so could be removed & polished or repainted again.
