I believe this is either an Antique or Vintage Book Binders Tool.

A lovely little quality tool, very tactile.

I far prefer these vintage tools to modern ones as they seem to last longer & are far more pleasing to the eye & touch.

In expected used working condition for an item of this age, nature & use.

I can't see a makers stamp but there is a mark which looks like 15. The handle is hardwood, probably beech. The metalwork is solid brass.

Approx 5" long in total length.
