Advert Description

Please feel free to make an offer.
A Carved Woodwork Landscape Scene, in a double Timber Frame, Signed in the bottom right hand corner & attributed to Les Douglas Webb.

Vintage Picture, from around the 1970s by artist Leslie Douglas Webb. Webb was born in the United Kingdom in 1924, Leslie Webb studied in London & whilst in the British Army. An artist, painter & wood carver, he works in Australian native timbers.

Nice unfaded golden colours, with some depth with the wood, bark & texture. A very atmospheric & characterful picture.

In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. I always prefer to keep pictures in their original frames. There are odd tiny marks & knocks, but it still looks fantastic on the wall.
There is a small stain on a part of the fabric, which might come out with a damp cloth? Some minor parts of the frame might benefit from a little oil, but I've just enjoyed it in "as found" condition, as it still looks great.

It's heavy & very large in size, a real statement piece at Approx just under 36" x 24" to the outer most edges of the outer most frame. (3 feet by 2 feet)

Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.

Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
