A pair of Brutalist, Modern, Urban, Industrial Style Candlesticks.
They would make a fantastic pair of lamps, if you fancied a little project to convert them.
They are real statement pieces that would look fabulous in the right property.
I suspect that they have been hand crafted & are not a mass produced items, but a unique one off pair.
In expected, used condition, for repurposed items of this age & nature. They look like they have been made from a number of different items & metals. There is very minor movement in one of the base cogs, as there's a bolt missing, however, it doesn't affect the candlestick in any way, as it's still solid & fit for purpose.
The top looks like either solid brass or bronze. The polished bottom bit looks like aluminium. The large bottom cogs may be steel. Not sure what the centre shaft is, but it's metal & has been well made.
A nice good size at approx 15" tall. The large bottom cogs is 5 1/2" in dia.
