They are quite a rare breed, originating in France and make great duel purpose birds, laying around 200 eggs per year. They are very good natured and make great family birds. These bantams are 3/4 of the size of the large fowl birds. Blue Salmon is a relatively new colour strain and is unusual in this country. The males have a grey front with a darker back. The females have a smokey down under their feathers.

All our breeding birds are healthy and well cared for. They eat a good diet which benefits their eggs.
