Advert Description

Using alpaca manure as fertiliser is beneficial as a rich soil conditioner. Alpaca fertiliser improves the soil quality and its ability to retain water. It is also good for plants, including house plants, providing nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus.

We have over 80 alpacas on our farm so plenty of poo available which we offer at a reasonable price of £3 for a large plastic animal feed sack.

As an extra saving, BYOS (bring your own spade). We will provide the bags. Fill the bags yourself for just £2.50 for a large plastic animal feed sack.

We can deliver most of the time. JUST ASK US US TO CALCULATE THE COST

We have two vacuum manure collectors here and all the manure is collected from the paddocks so it is free of straw and bedding material. We have piles of well-rotted poo that’s over a year old. Aged alpaca manure is light, dry and odor-free. I am told that alpaca manure does not have to be composted before use, however some gardeners do prefer the well-rotted manure.

Gardeners find alpaca manure to be an excellent source of nutrients for optimal soil and plant health.

Alpaca Compost has the highest N-P-K of any natural fertilizer. It is lower in organic matter content than the manure from most other barnyard livestock (cows, horses, goats and sheep) creating a higher concentration of nutrients as well as improves soil texture and water-holding capacity.

By using alpaca fertiliser, you'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you're using a natural, renewable resource while maintaining organic gardening practices.
