Antique 3/4 size violin for sale with bow and case (used). £1500

This very good-sounding violin is in excellent condition and would suit a talented young student as a a stepping stone to a full-size instrument. The back is one-piece with the back length 13.5''
The label states:
Copie de Franciscus Gobetti Fecit Venetus Anno...

The violin has been recently appraised and valued by Stringers London who believe it to be a late-19th century maker of the French or German school.

The fingerboard was ‘shot’ (levelled) while at Stringers and a new set of Pirastro Tonica strings fitted.

There could be a short approval period subject to an Approval Agreement and suitable identity documentation but preference would be for trial at my address in South London.
