Currently not working, although it starts up.
It was working absolutely fine until about a month ago, when I went to turn up Chaka Khan, and it seemed to cut out. Then it would come back on, and was always fine until I touched the vol control.
Now, the lights come on after plugging it in, it starts searching for stations, then makes a tiny, typical electrical “pop” sound, but no radio music plays as it was mid-search.
I think it’s an electrical fault that is a potential easy fix. It must be, because a certain auction website does a roaring trade in these “spares or repairs” not really working Evoke radios.
Complete with original box + original charger/ power cable. I’ve never tried a Power Pack with it.
Case is in excellent condition (amazing how much dust my iPad camera picks up!) no chips or cracks. Pls see photos.
Aerial not bent, broken, etc. Fully extends. (Lots of these Spares or Repairs Evokes have snapped off or bent aerials.) I haven’t seen any with their original box, & only a few with the power lead.
If posting, it will be packed securely - my mum was a post mistress!
