This is a rare & hard to get hold of in the UK Gibson Elvis Dove Electro Acoustic Guitar Limited Edition, one of only 200 produced this year at the Bozeman USA plants custom shop to coincide with the release of the Elvis Biopic film at the cinemas at the moment. Fitted with the excellent & easy to use LR Baggs VCT Element pickup system adjusted by two sound hole wheels. This is truly a stunning guitar, plays with wonderful ease, and sounds incredible with the usual Gibson thump & some thanks to the solid maple back and side & select Sitka spruce top. Comes with its as new tan custom hard shell case & certificate of authenticity & karate sticker etc. Also the original Gibson cardboard box & receipt to prove this is not stolen goods! Dave Grohl of The Foo Fighters famously plays a previous Elvis edition Gibson Dove amongst others, as it is such a unique & versatile electro acoustic and this is a timeless classic.

The Gibson Elvis Dove is based on a customized 1969 Gibson Dove that was gifted to the King of Rock and Roll by his father, Vernon Presley, and that Elvis played in concert regularly from 1971 until 1975, including during the 1973 satellite-televised Aloha From Hawaii concert. In 1975, Elvis gifted it in mid-performance to an astonished audience member at a concert in Asheville, North Carolina. The Gibson Elvis Dove features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid maple back and sides, and a mahogany neck capped with a rosewood fretboard. It also comes equipped with modern LR Baggs VTC electronics with an under-saddle piezo pickup and soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, making it stage-ready, right out of the box
