Beautiful Japanese tsuba with intricate open work depicting a tiger in the jungle with a hidden monkey in the trees with Japanese writing to one side and two tigers on the reverse side.
Detail is very good although I think this is a signed copy of a famous original. Worth keeping in a collection though. Item is heavy, made out of steel. Price open to offers.
