A murder has occured in the odd small town of Twin Peaks and FBI agent Dale Cooper is sent to aid local law enforcement officers in their investigation because evidence suggests that the killer who may live locally is responsible for a similar killing elsewhere in the states. Season one is spent investigating the crime and getting to know the people who may have been involved. Season two continues this but introduces weird and quirky elements that take the story far away from your usual crime scene investigation.
