no time-wasters please as he's not a novice ride, so no under 18s or those learning to ride.
Looking for a calm, confident and experienced rider to share my 16yo 16.2hh chestnut thoroughbred twice a week mainly to help get him out hacking.
In the school, he's very chilled and has the best temperament, very easy to handle in the stable or on the ground, loves attention and very sociable.
Out hacking he's a typical thoroughbred where he can get an adrenaline rush, get a bit sharp and over-excited, hence the need for someone confident and calm - but he's never reared, bucked or bolted with a rider on board.
I ride him myself when I can but also work full time - have another sharer but her days vary according to work as well, so he needs a bit more in terms of exercise/work. Ideal days would be Wed and Sunday (daytime hours) and regular weekly commitment is a must.
On a friendly, peaceful and helpful yard in RM4 area (car driver ideally as public transport is not really an option) with large rubber school and newly surfaced sand school, access to hacking straight from the yard.
