SCALE MODEL BUS: UNITED AUTOMOBILE SERVICES 1947 BRISTOL L5G

The actual vehicle that this 1:76 scale model represents is quite famous since it has passed into preservation and has featured in the All Creatures Great and Small TV series.

Delivered in 1947 to Darlington based United Automobile Services, it proved to be totally reliable, robust and eminently suited to the hilly and challenging landscape of County Durham, the North Riding and parts of the former county of Cumberland and could even be seen in places like Manchester and Liverpool when high passenger numbers placed demands on the United company.

It is in perfect condition and comes in a display case inside its original box which has signs of long term storage.
