The Beatles 1966 Candlestick Park Final Show Poster Signed by the Artist Wes Wilson
An original concert - advertising cardboard window card for the Beatles' last-ever concert, August 29th, 1966, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA (now demolished). This poster was hand-signed by poster artist Wes Wilson, the dean of San Franciso psychedelic concert poster design in stunning condition - a solid VG+++.
There are very few of these posters in existence as they were printed before the show for the purpose of selling tickets. The black color very easily picks up white crease lines from handling so finding one in this stunning condition is very rare indeed. Another huge bonus is this poster is hand signed in black ink by the artist Wes Wilson, just above his printed name. Wes Wilson passed away in 2019 so there will never be any more original posters signed by Wes.
The poster dimensions are the correct size for the original poster - 24 1/4" x 17 1/4".
This poster was also featured in the travelling Beatles exhibition "The Magical History Tour". The poster will be shipped in its custom made plexi-glass frame used for displaying it in the exhibition.
