The Grimms' Fairy Tales, originally known as the Children's and Household Tales (German: Kinder- und Hausmärchen), is a collection of fairy tales by the Grimm brothers or "Brothers Grimm", Jacob and Wilhelm, first published on 20 December 1812. The first edition contained 86 stories, and by the seventh edition in 1857, had 211 unique fairy tales.

Features old favourites like Rumpelstiltskin, The Golden Goose and Hansel and Grethel, and The Blue Light and The Almond Tree. Beautifully illustrated with several excellent full-colour plates including a frontispiece by the Scottish celebrated illustrator Monro S. Orr. Published by Associated Newspapers, Ltd, London, 1932 (No year of publication given, but assumed to date from 1932). Bound in blue and cream cloth boards with illustrations and black lettering on front board and to spine.
