Rare breed Jersey Giant black and white splash. JGs are about the size of a Brahma - Excellent examples. They are particularly gentle with people and make great pets. They are known for really looking after their girls.

Sadly his brother was bullying him when adolesent, unfortunately, this is perfectly natural for teenage roosters, but I didn't notice until he had damaged his eye. It has healed beautifully but he is blind in one eye poor thing. Ironically the other one was due to be rehomed the next day, but it was too late I fear for him. It doesn't seem to affect him, he is big and strong, and scratches and feeds well and the hens dont seem to notice, but he will need to be the only cockerel at his new home.

He is treading well so would be good for breeding or as a pet.
