Jordans Decorative Storage Tin.
For Kitchen Utility Children’s Room. Very Good Used Condition Home Decor.
This attractive storage tin was issued as a limited edition by the cereals company Jordans in 1997.
Although it originally contained their iconic crunchy breakfast cereal the tin could be used to store all manner of things.
Once its contents had been eaten this highly decorative tin was then used purely for display purposes.
Its sophisticated colouring of off white, grey, black and gold beautifully highlights the incredibly detailed images of a bygone era with cereal warehouse workers and horse drawn carts.
A plaque on one side of the tin states: famous oats mueslis and cereals.
(Jordans was established in 1855.).
The pretty design covers the entire tin.
This charming tin is in very good condition for its age.
There are just a few signs of light use as is to be expected.
The removable tin lid (which forms the roof of the warehouse design) is still present and a good tight fit.
