Advert Description

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER

A Genuine WW1 Military Cavalry School Brass Compass, by JH Steward of London.

The back is stamped:
"Cavalry School Compass JH Steward London".

This is quite rare & getting hard to find.

It's in expected, used, & poor condition for an item of this age & nature. Sadly, there isn't sufficient fluid inside for it to float freely. It doesn't appear to be leaking, so it's somehow dried out a little. You can get it to move slightly by tilting it. Maybe there's a way to replenish the fluid? But it's still a very nice little find. I'm not sure what the little rod is that sticks out over the compass face, but this looks broken too. However, still a great little piece of history for the collector.

Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.

Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
