Volunteer opportunities at Leeds Area RDA! Are you looking to spend some time at a yard, with a small herd of 5 horses and ponies, to support adults and children with disabilities to ride?
We are always looking to recruit volunteers to support our program and are flexible in what support is offered. All welcome from veteran equestrians to beginners wanting to learn. Duties can include but are not limited to: grooming, tacking up, leading and side walking in lessons in the school or out for local hacks, poo picking, tidying stables, filling hay nets, and riding in a short warm up.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss further, or come up to visit and see for yourself what the program is all about! Sessions are primarily run on Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons, with some weekday sessions on Wednesdays.
