LPG/Natural Gas 13Kw Twin Kohler Command Pro engine single phase generator 5-6 years old with less than 450 hours total run time on engine and alternator.
NB This is not a cheap chinese import with an under powered engine and impossible to get parts
Run from 47kg Calor gas bottles and used as the primary source of power for a workshop during the winter and in poor weather conditions in conjunction with a small 2kw solar system (sorry already sold). It was significantly oversized as was recommended to run a 3kw sliding table saw and welder along with other power tools.
It uses the LPG/Natural Gas version of the Twin Kohler Command pro engine (NB it will not run on Petrol) matched to a high quality Linz 13k alternator with a Deep Sea controller. It features remote start so can be integrated into a solar/battery system or started using a remote switch along with a remote emergency stop.
The generator has been serviced in excess of the manufacturers instructions with spark plugs and oil changed after the first 25 hours and then every 100hours or once a year which ever came first. Its never lost oil and needed to be topped up, nor at oil change has the oil been dirty or had bits in it. The brushes replaced in the last week as they were low and the battery has been replaced twice since new. All parts easily obtainable from UK suppliers, contacts supplied with sale.
A local mechanic extended the adjuster for the governor to make it easier to access
While it came with a silencer as I have very near neighbors I mounted the generator in a cabin with an additional large silencer around a meter long. A new silencer (identical to the one pictured in its original packing) is available for an extra £350, I have a couple of other silencer options for u to look at including the smaller supplied silencer.
