An Antique Brass Articulated Door Curtain Rail

I'm not exactly sure how it works?

In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. It would have originally been brass plated. Now some of the original brass underneath is starting to show through. It should polish up nicely.

At it's longest points it's 3 foot = 36" long.

There a 8 brass curtain rings.
