Antique grandfather clock for sale circa 1820. This clock is fully working and is an eight day with a date function and a working lock to the front door, used daily. It stands at a total height of 82 inches, with of 19 inches and a depth of 10 inches. Case is a two tone solid Oak and the brass work has been cleaned and polished. The maker is William Carter from Salisbury who traded from 1830, source from Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World vol II, Brian Loomes. Any inspection is welcome.
