Shetland raw wool fleeces various colours

2023 fleeces now available. A large variety of beautifully soft, fine well crimped shetland fleeces now available. Staple length between 3-5”. From sheep bred for the quality of their wool.
These
gorgeous
colourful fleeces are currently available in black/brown with white, fawn/grey, grey, white, black and brown or fawn.

They are great for spinning and weaving, and many are sold to make rugs, either by the felting method or with a peg loom.
Shetland sheep produce some very good fine fleeces. The fleeces are raw, skirted, and hand cleaned to remove vegetable matter. They have not been washed. Any VM left is easily removed when the fleece is carded.

They can be posted (priced on weight) or viewed in person near Tavistock in Devon.

The price is per kg. On average the fleeces weigh between 1-1.5kg. Read more
