Advert Description

This is a Bonze Follis of Constantine the Great, the Roman Emperor who made Christianity the state religion of Rome over two thousand years ago.
The coin is 21 mm and was minted in the Trier Mint about 316 A.D. and shows the bust of Constantine the Great on the front of the coin and Sol standing left, chlamys across the left shoulder and holding a globe in the right hand and rising the left hand.
The coin has two very small chips that are really only visible under a magnifying glass and a slight crack where something struck it, a plough, knife or metal detector, possibly, but it is a nice example of this coin and in very good condition for its age, and it has held together for almost two thousand years and is a great piece of Roman and Christian history.
