This is an original second world war German War Merit Crosss

This is an early original die-struck World War Two German War Merit Cross Second Class with swords in Tombak with its original bronze wash in excellent condition and nine inches of original ribbon.
The suspension ring is marked 11 for Grossman and company, Wein.
This marked example, with original ribbon, is as good an example as you could ever hope to get, yes, there are cheaper, often unmarked examples in much poorer condition than this example but for a collector, condition is everything.
