A rare vintage 90s FLAIR top from JANE NORMAN, bought by me in 1999 in the Oxford St store. Fuschia pink and black. Pls see label pic for date confirmation - this is a GENUINE late 90s vintage piece.
Labelled M/L, it fits an 8, 10, or 12.
One of my all-time favourite tops, for good reason. It can be casual, smart-casual, or smart. Effortlessly sexy with minis, shorts or jeans, more sophisticated and chic with trousers, skirts, or under a suit jacket. I’ve worn this to the office, and on nights out, and more than a few dates ;)
Very stretchy, clings in all the right places and none of the wrong. Heavy silky fabric. Extremely flattering. Bust area is lined.
Just a great top.
Even more rare because it was Made In England, so high-standard English workmanship.
Reluctant to see this go, but it no longer fits me and it
needs another body to show it off.
Excellent immaculate condition - except for 2 stitches at the hem that have started to unravel and could use a couple of new stitches over them to secure for another 30 years - this has been in and out of the washing machine more times than I can count, so it’s stood up extraordinarily well considering how old it is - quality always tells! Priced accordingly - would be £25 if completely perfect.
Armpit to armpit is 15” un-stretched, comfortably stretches to 19” (30-38” bust). Back length is 16”.
