FLYNN, 11 year old thoroughbred gelding. Up to date with vaccinations. Good to shoe, catch and load. Ex racer, who came to me like a stick and out of work for a month. Currently being ridden by a 14 year old, who just isn't clicking with him. Genuine and very forward going. Will need someone who is experienced (no novices) as he gets very strong. Currently being ridden
3-4 times a week. Got a nice jump but will pull you very strongly to fences, doesn't look at planks or fillers, good in the school but needs more work for a nice outline, 3 good paces though. He prefers to hack out on his own. Can get quite joggy before a canter but he isn't nasty and when you get going he listens to you nicely. Good with traffic. Recently been to XC and jumped everything I put him at, just very egare and strong. Has been to shows but gets very stressed and will start chewing alot.
He is a very big ball of stress when he goes somewhere new (like shows or training) where he will just stop dead and won't move unless he is confident. Will be led by someone but tends to pull away. He isn't nasty when doing so but just takes time for him to settle a bit. Once your going he is usually alright. Very sad sale due to horse and rider not gelling and would rather have something a bit smaller.
Can crib/Windsuck but wears a collar which stops him.
