Advert Description

The Smaller firefighter nozzle is nearly 11 1/2” tall, 3 1/2” wide. The faceted base of the rotating nozzle has impressed BRITISH STANDARD SPECiFICATION No 336 - 1936 (date?) TYPE A 5/6. Its the same metal throughout (copper? as there is a pink/rose coloured hue to the metal and there is frequent green patina in a number of the dents) It weighs 2.154 kilo
The larger nozzle/hose is 16 1/2” tall, 5” wide. It has the same metal on the top section and the valve bar (copper?). The wording/numbers on the alternate facets of the base of the rotating nozzle are identical to the smaller one except for 3/4. The 4 bars that jut out do not rotate but have OPEN SHUT above the bars so possibly once rotated? The body (steel?) has NOZZLE SHUT NOZZLE OPEN above and below the valve bar. To the side of the valve bar is MINIMAX LTD FELTHAM MIDDLESEX (1903-1955)
It’s 3.584 kilo
They both have same font size, style, formation and lettering so I’m sure they are both MINIMAX
I originally bought these to make lamp bases but due to their weight, they are unsuitable as my hands don’t work properly. They would be fantastic just as stand alone curios, and would make a great talking piece.
I have PayPal but prefer cash on collection, or bank transfer. I will meet central to Stafford or the local area please? If postage is needed these will be expensive because of their weight but the buyer would need to contribute towards the extra cost please thanks
No couriers thanks
Thanks for looking :)
